June 2000 saw the opening of our third and final cottage, Elouera. This came as quite a change from the first two as we  built in a position that allowed us to connect to 240 volt electricity. Elouera looks similar to Kalimna and Pindari but has three bedrooms (two with queen sized beds and the third with two singles).

It features open living, log fire, full electric kitchen ..ceramic topped stove, with oven, grill and four top plates plus a  microwave. On hand is pepper and salt, tea bags and leaf tea and sugar. There is a reverse cycle air-conditioner for the comfort of guests and whilst this may appear to be a swing away from our ideals it is important to us that our guests are comfortable. An excellent sound system is in the cottage and linen and towels are included in the tariff. However for each couple who opts to bring their own towels you will be rewarded with a pack of Ros' five blank nature  greeting cards. Do mention this if it is of interest as you make your booking. The veranda offers a magnificent view to the north. Early April 2001 saw the addition of an  outdoors/under cover shower house and "loo with a view"!  It complements the conventional bathroom located inside the cottage.

Of course there is a  gas BBQ and the usual Yeranda outdoors open fireplace for camp oven cooking. An emergency 12 volt back up lighting system for the kitchen, veranda and bathroom are in place to make for smooth running when there is a power failure.

Elouera has been built with our wheelchair friends in mind and is fully accessible. Once again a hob less shower and all necessary grab rails, ramps to the veranda and the chance for those with mobility limitations to enjoy the view from a great spot. As the shrubbery increased close by the smaller birds have  arrived in closer to the cottage. Many of the small species are regularly seen in near by vegetation.

Elouera is an adults /young adults cottage only ( the immediate area not being suitable for small children) There is  an emphasis on those wanting a peaceful short break away or the eco type stay you will long remember.
