Kalimna

This small one bed roomed cottage was constructed to AS 1428.1 1993 and is just perfect for those with mobility limitations however anyone seeking total seclusion for a romantic break away or to enjoy the natural history of the area can be assured Kalimna will live up to expectations.

A cosy log fire, solar lighting and gas appliances (full stove and 160 litre fridge) plus a veranda  with a spectacular view to the Black Bulga range are the features of this cottage. There is a queen sized bed hence ideal for just one or two persons. Ask Kevin or Ros about the extras available to help make a stay by mobility limited  more comfortable.

In Kalimna you are supplied with bed linen (sheets, pillows, doona/ doona cover) towels, A new idea is to offer you a pack of five of our blank greeting cards if you are happy to bring your own towels....arrive to bed made up but use your own towels...mention this option as you book please. All kitchen utensils (including a coffee plunger). An outside open fire place is ideal for some challenging cooking! Try the camp oven or the jaffle irons when fire restrictions allow of course.

There is an under cover gas BBQ as well.  Guests are welcome to use the phone at the house or to leave the number for relatives if need be. Kalimna is accessed from the main entrance to the property and is totally secluded. The three cottages and house are each in separate parts of the property.  April 2002 saw the addition of a  "beneath the stars" hexagonal shower house. June 2005 saw Kalimna being the last of three cottages to score an outside, country toilet ... and what a great view this one has thru two full glass panels. Remembering that for the extremely modest, there is still an indoors toilet! We welcome our naturist friends to this cottage and with privacy assured all can feel at ease and comfortable in a beautiful bush setting. Some of the close by walks are able to be used for bare bushwalks but as with all guests we ask that the privacy of other cottage guests is respected and guests steer clear of other cottages.
