YERANDA FAUNA

Native animals abound in the subtropical and open bushland.
Most of these  images were  taken in the Yeranda Wildlife Refuge or near by.

A showy fly! and to think we constantly overlook such small creatures.

Red triangle rainforest slug...these quite beautiful cretaures are only seen during or directly after rain.

They feed on algae on the smooth bark of Sydney blue gum trees, leaving tell tale squiggles on the surface.
