Carowiry
Carowiry Cabin is a double storey log cabin with two bedrooms upstairs providing space for six guests, one a queen and the other a double/single bunk room. Downstairs you will find the kitchen, dining space, living space, bathroom and separate toilet. There is also a gas bbq for cooking outdoors and an outdoor fireplace to warm yourself by in the cooler months. The upstairs veranda encircles the cabin, providing views of the surrounding forest. Carowiry was built in the early '80s and Dave has recently refurnished it with retro style furniture and decor of the era - it provides a genuine bush experience with forest growing right up to the veranda. Carowiry sits above a subtropical rainforest gully and is the perfect retreat for nature lovers. Because of its bush setting it is out of mobile and TV reception range; however, there is a stereo and TV with DVD player and HDMI input in the living space as well as a range of books and games to pass the time in the evenings. It is situated on Carawirry Wildlife Refuge, a 250 acre property adjoining Yeranda.
